St. Ann Classical Academy joyfully began Catholic Schools Week 2025 with a beautiful and well-attended Mass at the Catholic Church of St. Ann in Raritan, NJ. Reflecting on the significance of Catholic education, Rev. Thomas Odorizzi, C.O., shared an inspiring message with the school and parish community:
"What we celebrate today and this Catholic Schools Week has everything to do with this Gospel message and truth. Our hope at St. Ann Classical Academy is that the children who attend here will be formed in their identity as beloved children of God, all the while being educated to read, write, think and reason, explore the sciences, be filled with wonder at the order of God’s creation, discover and learn from the movement of man’s heart in history and good literature. God is source of reality and truth, beauty and goodness, life and love, and so can be known in all school subjects."
The Mass was enriched by the participation of our students. The choir, under the direction of Mr. Anthony Nardino, filled the church with music that lifted hearts in prayer. Altar servers, guided by Rev. Steven Bolton, C.O., faithfully assisted throughout the liturgy, while students also took on leadership roles as readers and gift bearers with the support of Mr. Meliton Rulloda.
We are deeply grateful to the current and prospective families who joined us, as well as the parish community for celebrating this special occasion. This Mass was a testament to the joy and purpose of Catholic education, reinforcing our commitment to forming disciples of Christ through faith, learning, and community.
