As we concluded the Lenten season, our students participated in a moving retreat led by Sr. Ella Mae, reflecting on the Cross, Christ’s Passion, and the Paschal Mystery. The day was rooted in prayer, featuring Adoration and Benediction, and offered students the opportunity to deepen their relationship with Christ. In true Classical fashion, students integrated theology, mathematics, and art through the creation of symmography crosses—a visual and spiritual meditation on the Cross that combined precise geometry with profound meaning.
Our 3rd and 5th graders shared the joy of the Resurrection by crafting Easter cards for the Religious Teachers Filippini. Some of our Upper School students also embraced the Holy Week tradition of exchanging olive branches. As a final gesture, a beautifully decorated branch was presented to Sr. Ella Mae as a sign of friendship and gratitude.
Forming hearts and minds through faith and reason—this is the heart of a Catholic classical education.
