Being a teacher at St. Ann Classical Academy I can live out what I have learned through my experience growing up going to Catholic School with the added bonus of classical teaching.
One of the things that attracted me to St. Ann’s was the opportunity to combine both the beautiful richness of the Catholic Faith and Tradition with the ever-changing world of science, two things that I was taught to be separate domains, but now have the opportunity to share how the two complement each other in an extraordinary way to ultimately reveal who God is.
I have found the staff to be incredibly welcoming and extremely intuitive when it comes to approaching Catholic classical education. Teachers can provide a front door to new subjects that students can easily walkthrough. However, by walking through this front door, students not only retain the information, but they are able to have the new subject remain with them as they move on to new fields of study and new doors of opportunity.
Even with the challenging climate of the world during this school year, I have found that SACA has done an incredible job of being committed to the education and deepening the faith of the students. This dedication is what sets St. Ann’s apart and it is what makes me extremely proud to work for an institution that focuses on each individual student’s soul and their future success.
I have absolutely loved the work that St. Ann’s has already done, and I am looking forward to seeing how this school continues to grow and to shine the light of Christ on all of those who come through our doors.
