St. Ann Classical Academy has kicked off our 1,000 Rosary Challenge for October, and we’re starting strong! On the first day, over 20 rosaries were prayed, and many more have followed. On October 7, our school and parish community came together to pray after Mass on the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, uniting in prayer for our school and special intentions. Fall is in the air, and our Pre-K students are capturing its beauty through art! Students explored the beauty of God's creation in the changing colors of fall leaves. Each child painted a leaf with the colors of Fall - red, orange, and yellow - utilizing painting techniques which support fine motor skill development.

Today we began the last day of the first full week of school a beautiful Mass celebrated by Fr. Steven. Following Mass, Fr. Steven took some time to visit with our students and bless our classrooms. It was a beautiful end to a wonderful week of joy and learning. Thank you, Fr. Steven!

Bishop Checchio was spotted welcoming back the St. Ann's Italian Festa on the campus of St. Ann's Church in Raritan on June 20, 2024. The Festa continues June 21 & 22 from 5:30-10:00pm for food, games, and family fun! The FESTA Mass will take place on Saturday, June 22, at 4pm at the Catholic Church of St. Ann with the San Rocco procession to follow.

St. Ann Classical Academy’s Pre-K program is developmentally designed to prepare your child for a classical education. Following Mass this morning, our school community remained in the church to honor Mary, the Mother of Christ, with a beautiful May Crowning. May Crowning is a cherished ritual in the Roman Catholic tradition. It is observed during the month of May, a month dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary. The quadrivium (arithmetic, music, geometry, astronomy) and the trivium (grammar, logic, rhetoric) make up the seven classical liberal arts of antiquity. This is the education that the great minds of the past such as Plato, Aristotle, and Saint Thomas Aquinas would have received. However, if you were to do a Google search on classical education, you would see much fanfare regarding the trivium, but little on the quadrivium.
