As part of Catholic Schools Week, students and faculty at St. Ann Classical Academy dedicated the day to praying for peace, turning to Scripture, tradition, and personal reflection to deepen their understanding of God’s call to be peacemakers.
Throughout the day, the school community gathered to pray the Rosary, seeking the intercession of Our Lady, Queen of Peace. Through Scripture readings, students reflected on their role in fostering peace within their families, communities, and the world. Inspired by the wisdom of the saints, including St. Francis of Assisi and St. Pope John Paul II, they meditated on prayers that have offered hope during times of conflict and unrest.
To conclude the day, students wrote their own prayers for peace, asking God to bring healing, love, and reconciliation where it is most needed. This special focus on peace served as a powerful reminder that the peace of Christ, which surpasses all understanding, can dwell in our hearts and radiate into the world.
