Despite the inclement weather on Tuesday, the festive spirit of Mardi Gras shone brightly at St. Ann Classical Academy! Today, our students embraced the tradition with beautifully decorated masks, adorned in the iconic hues of green, gold, and purple. These colors not only call to mind the excitement of Mardi Gras but also hold deep significance in our liturgical seasons. Our lower school students paraded through the halls in a dazzling display, while their upper school counterparts warmly welcomed them, dressed impeccably for the occasion.
Our 8th graders showcased their spelling skills in an exciting bee, hosted and judged by members of the Knights of Columbus Sgt. John Basilone Council. The entire upper school joined in for a memorable, fun, and educational experience! Following the bee, our 8th graders had the pleasure of engaging with our esteemed guests, deepening their sense of community. A big thank you to everyone involved in making this enriching event possible for our students!
At St. Ann Classical Academy, everything we do is for the greater glory of God (Ad Maiorem Dei Gloriam). Faith is integrated throughout the day as Christ is the Logos. Click the picture to see how students focused on the Virtue of Piety during Catholic Schools Week.
